Dilek Sunar
Dilek Sunar has graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Pharmacy in 1983 with a high degree. In the same year, she started working as a sterile production supervisor at Eczacıbaşı Pharmaceutical Company- Levent facility. The fact that Eczacıbaşı İlaç Sanayi works with more than 40 licencer companies, therefore Dilek Sunar had the opportunity to attend to the trainings of these licencer companies and to visit their facilities. In 1984, when the Ministry of Health started GMP applications, she also assumed the duty of GMP specialist in addition to her duty. Thus, it started the first GMP activities in Turkey. Because of GMP she had also started validation studies by establishing a validation team in sterile production department by taking trainig from Schering Plough, Upjohn, Astra etc. She worked in the design and planning of Eczacıbaşı New Lüleburgaz facilities, which was established on a 60.000 m2 closed area in 1989, and took part of the validation of the Lüleburgaz facility, personnel training and the establishment of the documentation system after the completion of the facility's construction. She met the I.C.C.E.-Belgium company during the services of the 3rd party validation firm of this Lüleburgaz facility. Returning to Istanbul in 1998, she established the first validation company in Turkey as I.C.C.E.-Istanbul. I.C.C.E.-Istanbul still continues their activities as the first 3rd party independent accredited validation company (AB-0053-M accreditation number) by obtaining the ISO 17020 certificate from the Turkish National Accreditation Agency (TÜRKAK) in 2007. Dilek Sunar is also the founding partner of Academia Life Sciences Center. She served the pharmaceutical industry by organizing trainings with simultaneous translation by many foreign lecturers in this company. Dilek Sunar is provided consultancy & training services to the newly-established companies in the attached list with her team in the GMP accreditation processes. Dilek Sunar is chairman of the board of the Cleanroom Technologies Society of Turkey, she especially gives training about ISO 14644-3 standart. She is an active member of ISPE and PDA organizations. Dilek Sunar, speaking in many congresses as an expert in GMP, validation and cleanrooms, she has also provides dozens of regular trainings to the GMP inspection board of the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Agriculture.
